What is Ocean School?

Dalhousie University and the Ocean Frontier Institute have teamed up with the National Film Board of Canada to create Ocean School. Ocean School is a free, innovative inquiry-based learning experience.

Ocean School is a groundbreaking learning experience that uses powerful storytelling techniques, immersive technologies and interactive media. Our inquiry-based approach advances critical thinking, innovation and environmental awareness. Our resources guide the learner through immersive media using VR, augmented reality, 360 cinema, and more to explore and foster a deep engagement with the ocean.
